Less than 10 weeks and counting!

It's so hard to believe that I've been pregnant for 31 weeks, and in just 9 short weeks, J & I will finally be able to hold our sweet, little Nicholas in our arms, and share him with the world! We're so excited, yet nervous at the same time. We hope that we we don't let him down, are the best parents that we're capable of being to him, and teach him all the necessary things to thrive in life.

Some nursery pics!

The blue isn't as "bright" as it appears in the photos, and actually looks really nice! We still need to get an additional piece of furniture or 2, and get things hung on the walls, but it's a good start! :)

Recap of Dr's appt. today

Well, I only gained 5 lbs since my last appointment, which was four weeks ago. Much less than my previous four week period! :) She took some measurements, and everything is right on track! I took the blood glucose test today (to test for the presence of gestational diabetes), so with any luck, that will come back negative, and that will be the last time they have to take blood. I'm a needle wimp, but have somehow become kind of accustomed to it. We see the Dr. again in three weeks, then will see her every two weeks from then until I deliver!

We chose our baby bedding this weekend!

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3125494

We'll use bright teals (and maybe lime greens) to accent the chocolate & white in the nursery set! We're choosing paint colors today! It's so fun to see the nursery coming together.

We're still debating on a baby name, but will probably have something set soon! Here are the names we like so far: Nicholas, James, Wesley (Wes) & Jack (Jack was my Grandfather's name, as well as my uncle's, but we already know quite a few people with little Jacks, so Jack is probably out of the running. May make a nice middle name though)!

Jason finally felt the baby move for the first time this week! I think he wishes the baby moved around a little more, but I'm sure there's plenty more of that to come!
